GIS Analyst

• Create and edit spatial data and mapping products, performing junior‑level geospatial analyses
• Generate, edit, and maintain relational geospatial databases
• Assist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processes
• Support field activities as a field second, depending on workload
• Collaborate with technical experts across various Montrose regions

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions, as well as ESRI Arc Pro
• Understanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformations
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well in a team atmosphere

• Experience with ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases and ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / Online
• Familiarity with FME or ESRI model builder, and UAV imagery processing
• Background in linear infrastructure projects, such as pipelines
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D
• GIS programming experience using technologies like Python, Arcade, or SQL
