Position: Northern Manitoba Recovery Support Role
Join the Northern Health Region as a Recovery Support Worker dedicated to community recovery efforts. Be ready to move to Thompson, The Pas, or Flin Flon as needed.

This position places focus on supporting individuals toward recovery while fostering an inclusive workforce. Ideal candidates will contribute to the diverse representation of women, Indigenous peoples, and people with disabilities in healthcare. Engage directly with clients and utilize community resources to enhance support efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients by providing emotional and practical support

• Facilitate communication between clients and providers

• Document client interactions and outcomes accurately

• Complete necessary vulnerability and abuse registry checks

• Promote community engagement and resource awareness

Requirements:

• Experience in recovery or support work preferred

• Compliance with criminal records and registry checks

• Eligibility for Manitoba registration is a plus

• Commitment to workforce diversity and representation

• Ability to relocate within Northern Manitoba
