Lowboy​/Winch Truck Driver Construction

This position involves operating tractor and lowboy trailers to facilitate the movement of construction materials across projects in the Fort McMurray area. Candidates must be ready to work a 14-day on, 7-day off rotation, ensuring equipment is loaded, unloaded, and secured properly. Daily inspections and safety checks are crucial for maintaining equipment in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move heavy equipment between various sites safely

• Perform thorough daily inspections and maintenance

• Accurately complete transportation and safety logs

• Attend and engage in mandatory safety meetings

• Report unsafe conditions and participate in investigations

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience

• Must hold a Class 1 driver's license with air endorsement

• Ability to operate standard transmission (18 speed)

• Good health condition for physical duties

• Proven reliability and strong work ethic
