Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications for a diverse radiology setting, accepting first-time travelers.
Responsibilities- Work in a CT scan and X-ray department covering adolescent to geriatric patients, with rare infant and pediatric cases
- Average daily volume is 15-20 CT scans and 20-30 X-rays, with lower volumes on nights
- Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other weekend coverage required
- Floating between CT and X-ray areas is required
- Uses Epic and Fuji PACS systems
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No call requirements
- Travelers must work major holidays as scheduled during their assignment
- Scrub color is Caribbean blue
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off; no time off permitted during the first week of assignment
- Travelers must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning
- If unable to return to one facility, travelers must complete a successful assignment outside the system before rebooking
- Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start; orientation may be postponed if not completed on time
- No blocked scheduling available
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Competency in both CT and X-ray required
- Experience with Epic and Fuji PACS preferred
- License required if applicable
