We are currently looking for a reliable Powder Coat Painter/Assembler to support our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, and assembling parts to meet production requirements and customer quality standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining steady production flow, ensuring accurate and consistent finishes, and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and teamwork are essential to achieving high-quality results and on‑time delivery.

1st Shift: Mon – Thurs, 10 hour shifts. 4 day work week!

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, hanging, and inspecting components prior to coating.
  • Apply powder coat finishes using electrostatic spray equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Cure coated parts using ovens and monitor time and temperature requirements.
  • Assemble coated components according to work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality meet requirements.
  • Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, spray guns, and related tools.
  • Perform routine daily maintenance and housekeeping of the powder coat booth, ovens, and work areas.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in powder coating, painting, or manufacturing assembly preferred.
  • Basic ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Working knowledge of powder coat application techniques, equipment setup, and curing processes.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, and coating thickness gauges preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Dependable, safety‑conscious, and able to work effectively in a team‑oriented production environment.
