About the RoleDaVita is seeking a nurse who can provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. You will make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. We seek a compassionate, empathetic nurse who can deliver care as you would want for yourself and loved ones.
Position Details- No dialysis experience is required.
- Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
- Float to various clinics during and after your training.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Build meaningful and long‑term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- Be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.
- Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple comorbidities requiring unique treatment plans and leveraging a broad range of nursing skills.
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine set up.
- Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast‑paced environment.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted. Three‑year diploma from an accredited program may substitute for a nursing degree.
- Experience helpful but not required: ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) not required but a plus.
