Account Manager
- Retail/Convenience Store Sales
for our company. Previous sales or account management experience required and petroleum sales experience is strongly preferred.

The position will be hybrid with some time in office at one of our warehouse locations and some time remote to accommodate drive-able travel to customer locations within Georgia. We do not plan to for air travel to be a part of onsite customer location visits. It is beneficial for candidates to be able to easily and conveniently attend meetings at one of our warehouse/bulk plant locations in Athens, Thomson, Albany, or Waycross, Georgia.
The position is posted separately for each location, but there is only one open position.
The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday 8a-5p. To meet customer need there may be schedule flexibility.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes a commission structure.

SUMMARY: Maintain strong, consistent relationships with retail/convenience store fuel customers, including Chevron-branded and unbranded gas stations. Serve as the primary relationship contact for assigned accounts and coordinate fuel service, margin management, property maintenance, vendor activity, and regulatory and branding needs for assigned customers and Boswell Oil Company-owned convenient store properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. - Maintain regular, proactive contact with assigned retail/convenience store customers and serve as a primary Boswell Oil Company (BOC) relationship contact.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding account needs, responding to questions, following through on commitments, and coordinating resolution of service issues.
- Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Sales Support, Accounting, Service, and other internal departments to support timely and accurate fuel delivery and customer service.
- Monitor assigned accounts for issues involving fuel deliveries, pricing, paperwork, service, or other customer concerns and coordinate timely resolution.
- Assist with margin management for split-profit locations where BOC owns the property and shares fuel sales profits with the customer/lease holder. Review available sales, cost, margin, and market information and recommend pricing intended to generate appropriate revenue for both BOC and the customer.
- Coordinate with internal employees and/or external service vendors for maintenance and repair needs at BOC-owned convenient store/gas station properties. Track open items and follow through to completion.
- Coordinate with appropriate internal resources and/or external vendors to help ensure BOC-owned locations meet applicable regulatory, inspection, environmental, safety, and property maintenance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate records of inspections, maintenance activity, service requests, vendor work, and other required property or account documentation.
- Provide Chevron-branded customers with information and updates regarding applicable Chevron fuel programs, incentives, and branding requirements.
