Join Boswell Oil Company as a Class A Commercial Driver with Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsements. You will operate transport tanker trailers to deliver petroleum products from our Thomson, GA warehouse to multiple destinations, ensuring safe and courteous service.

$22.00/hr – $32.00/hr, commensurate with experience.

• Operate the truck to transport petroleum products between the facility and designated locations.
• Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service.
• Make deliveries in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
• Maintain contact with the home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notice of changes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre‑ and post‑trip) and maintain all safety features, including refueling as needed.
• Comply with all DOT, EPA, FMCSA, and company regulations.
• Follow department standard operating procedures and prescribed safety rules.
• Inspect and perform minor troubleshooting or repair of employer/customer storage tanks and dispensing equipment.
• Maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle.
• Assist in the implementation of improvement projects or system enhancements to achieve efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Problem‑solve issues as necessary and complete preventative maintenance procedures as prescribed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Cross‑train to assist in other departments as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of commercial driving experience (or equivalent education and experience).
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements.
• Forklift experience is a bonus.
• Previous experience delivering petroleum products strongly preferred.
• Computer skills with Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, and/or Teams preferred.
• Physical ability to sit, talk, run, and handle up to 25 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety orientation and ability to maintain a clean working environment.
