Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, plus scheduled on-call duties An established children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic EBD home. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of the home Create a safe, structured, nurturing environment Lead, motivate, and develop the residential care team Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards Oversee care quality, staff performance, and service development Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and professionals Drive the home towards strong inspection outcomes and continuous improvement Requirements Essential:
Minimum 3 years in a senior role within children’s EBD care Previous leadership/management experience in a children’s home Strong safeguarding & Ofsted regulation knowledge Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Willingness to complete/hold Level 5 Leadership & Management Full UK driving licence Desirable: 5 years’ experience in EBD settings Experience supporting children with emotional & behavioural needs Track record of achieving/maintaining Good or Outstanding outcomes Safeguarding & Safer Recruitment All applicants must undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
