Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our amazing client in the appointment of a Project & Estimator Engineer to join their Teesside-based operation.

This is a key role within a specialist engineering environment, supporting the delivery of innovative infrastructure solutions across global projects.
 
About the Role
As Project & Estimator Engineer, you will take responsibility for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the successful execution of engineering projects from initial enquiry through to completion. You will work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities
 
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions
Interpret technical drawings, specifications and client requirements
Create drawings using AutoCAD and/or Solid Works
Produce engineering reports, manufacturing / fabrication packages and other associated documents
Liaise with engineering, procurement and production teams to develop accurate project scopes
Support and monitor project planning, scheduling and cost control activities
Identify risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders  What We're Looking For
 
Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
Excellent understanding of engineering and manufacturing drawings
Hans on experience in AutoCAD and/or Solid Works
Strong commercial awareness and cost estimation capability
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Excellent organisational and communication skills
