We re proud to bring affordable veterinary care to the Teesside area, our Out-of-Hours (OOH) service to ensure pets receive the care they need-whenever they need it. We re now building a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Vets to help us deliver exceptional service. Working alongside a qualified registered veterinary nurse, you will handle a diverse range of surgical and medical ECC cases while overseeing our inpatient service.

We operate a 24‑hour service from four other hospitals, so working nights at Animal Trust ensures you are never alone, providing a collaborative environment where vets can always consult with one another regarding cases. Our new hospital is set to feature 9 spacious consulting rooms, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a diagnostic suite, digital X‑ray, a dedicated dental suite, and an isolation unit.

We also provide separate cat and dog wards for low‑stress patient care, along with a central prep area to support efficient clinical workflow. Designed to deliver first opinion, referral, and out‑of‑hours care, our facility brings high‑quality veterinary services to pets in the surrounding community.

We are looking for a vet who is keen to work a 7:14 rota (28hrs/week), although we are open to candidates who would like to consider alternative working patterns, including Full‑time (40hrs).

Our advertised FTE salary is based on 40 hours. What you ll get: (list above).
