HR Administrator – Thornbury (BS35)
£15.13 per hour | Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a globally recognised manufacturer based in Thornbury

The Role

Working closely with the HR Business Partner
, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across all areas of HR. This is a varied role where organisation, attention to detail and confidentiality are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to the HR Business Partner and wider HR team
  • Preparing contracts, letters and HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Supporting the onboarding and induction process for new starters
  • Assisting with probation reviews, employment changes and leaver administration
  • Coordinating meetings, interviews and HR appointments
  • Processing HR paperwork accurately and within deadlines
  • Supporting recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates
  • Assisting with absence management, training records and general HR reporting
  • Ensuring all HR information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR
What We're Looking For
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR environment
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience using HR systems would be advantageous but is not essential
