Responsibilities

Oversee the day‑to‑day running of a 4‑bed children’s residential home.
Support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Home Standards.
Lead, develop, and motivate your staff team.
Manage safeguarding, care planning, and risk assessments.
Drive the home towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.

Qualifications

Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children’s residential care.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
Experience working with EBD young people.
Level5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Full UK driving licence.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
