Teaching Personnel is urgently recruiting Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools across ALL areas of Cardiff.

Demand is extremely high and schools are requesting cover daily — we are looking to onboard as many Welsh speakers as possible immediately.

The Role

Support pupils in Welsh-medium and bilingual settings

Work across Foundation Phase, KS2 and Secondary

Opportunities for day-to-day supply, long-term, and potential permanent roles

SEN experience welcomed but not essential

A passion for supporting children and young people

Classroom or childcare experience (preferred, not required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
