Vice President, Architecture & Design – Ultra-Luxury Master-Planned Community
A globally recognised Luxury Real Estate Developer is seeking to appoint a Vice President of Architecture & Designto lead the design delivery of an exceptional, 6,000-acre, ultra-luxury master-planned mountain resort and residential community in Colorado. The development will feature private skiing, championship golf, equestrian facilities, fly fishing, exclusive private club amenities and world-class luxury residences, creating one of North America's most ambitious private mountain destinations.
Working closely with executive leadership, you will oversee architecture across luxury residential, private club, hospitality, wellness, recreational and amenity components, ensuring design excellence is maintained throughout all phases of development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the architectural vision and design strategy across the wider development.
- Manage and coordinate internationally recognised architects, interior designers and specialist consultants.
- Oversee projects from concept design through design development, documentation and construction.
- Ensure designs align with brand standards, operational requirements, budget and programme objectives
- Review design packages and provide strategic direction to project teams and consultants.
- Partner closely with Development, Construction, Operations and Sales & Marketing teams.
- Drive innovation while maintaining a strong focus on buildability, member experience and long-term asset value.
- Degree-qualified Architect or related design professional.
- 15+ years of experience delivering luxury residential, hospitality and multi-use developments.
- Experience working on behalf of a developer, owner or master developer.
- Demonstrated track record managing large-scale, complex destination developments.
- Strong experience leading external architectural and design consultant teams.
- Experience with luxury mountain resorts, private clubs or master-planned residential communities is highly desirable.
