Social Worker (School)
Start Date:
ASAP | Pay Rate: $2,098.00 - $2,162.00
We are partnering with a well‑respected School District in Thornton, CO that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Social Worker for a contract position. Candidates must be available for full‑time hours and ideally have previous School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric experience.
Schedule:
7.5‑hour days Monday through Friday. This is an immediate need and active interviewing is underway.
- Provide direct services to students with mental health needs on their IEP, including 1:1 meetings, social skills groups, etc.
- Support the development of FBA’s and BIP’s, and provide crisis support as needed.
- Conduct evaluations in the social‑emotional area and IEP development and documentation.
- Provide indirect and direct services to students requiring interventions.
- Manage caseloads based on factors such as mobility rate, total student population, students with disabilities, free and reduced lunch participation, and the number of providers in the building.
- Licensed Social Worker with a degree in Social Work (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Experience in a School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
