HR Talent & Culture Coordinator
Location: Thornton, CO (with occasional travel to other locations)
Reports To: Director of HR (dotted line to General Manager)
Malibu Jack’s is seeking an HR Talent & Culture Coordinator to be based at our Thornton, CO location. This role combines hands‑on HR support, talent acquisition, and employee engagement with occasional operational responsibilities, such as opening/closing, scheduling, or floor support when managers or coordinators are unavailable. You will also travel occasionally to other locations for hiring events, new park openings, or HR training.
Key Responsibilities- Help manage HR systems including Paycor, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll and benefits processes, update and improve employee procedures
- Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and orientation primarily at the Thornton location
- Travel occasionally to other parks for hiring events, new park openings, and HR training
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and morale‑building activities
- Support managers with employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Provide operational support as needed, ensuring staff adherence to operational standards, safety procedures, and guest service expectations
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
