Cardiovascular Specialist PRN

Position at North Suburban Medical Center, a division of HCA Healthcare. Hourly Wage Estimate: $43.23 - $64.85 per hour.

Job Summary

Assists the Physician in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, electrophysiology procedures, structural heart procedures, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during the full spectrum of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.

• Provide advanced nursing care in the cardiovascular lab setting.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

Position Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure, or current registration as a Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR), or current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or ARC.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, accredited RTR and/or RCIS training program.
  • Preferred: 2 years’ experience in critical care nursing (RN), interventional radiology procedures (RTR), or cardiovascular lab setting (RCIS).
