Job Title:

Registered Nurse NICU II PRN – North Suburban Medical Center (Mountain Ridge, HCA Health

ONE). This is a PRN position within a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The RN will provide advanced neonatal nursing care to low‑risk and high‑risk infants, assist with feedings, stabilize ventilated infants, and support parents with education. The role includes attending low and high risk deliveries as needed, following NRP guidelines.

• Perform comprehensive head‑to‑toe assessments of each infant per policy.
• Manage and stabilize ventilated infants and those with umbilical lines.
• Assist with feeding, including breast‑ and bottle‑feeding support.
• Provide education and emotional support to parents and families.
• Attend selected low and high risk deliveries following NRP protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient‑centered care.

• Registered Nurse with an active Colorado state license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification via AHA or ARC.
• Neonate Resuscitation (NRP) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start.
• Preferably stabilized NICU experience; must be able to work 1:1 care.
• Additional NICU experience required.
