Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Freestanding Emergency Room at HCA Health

ONE Mountain Ridge in Colorado. This RN will coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the ED, using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients and families while supporting an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 per hour

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management, including reassessment after intervention.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and document care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs proactively.
• Teach patients/families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures; translate complex medical terminology into understandable information.
• Educate patients and families about healthy lifestyle changes and disease prevention, preparing them for future self‑management.

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or a multistate license.
• BSN desired; RN diploma acceptable.
• Two or more years of Emergency Room RN experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
