Hourly wage estimate: $22.05 – $29.78 per hour.

As a Nurse Extern, you’ll join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to gain hands‑on experience while exploring the full scope of the Registered Nurse role. • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), check vital signs, support mobility, and ensure patient comfort and hygiene.
• Perform nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and basic procedures as experience grows.
• Document care accurately and communicate timely updates with the nursing team.
• Help patients and families understand care plans and provide health‑recovery guidance.
• Maintain clean and safe patient areas following infection prevention practices and equipment management.
• Engage in learning opportunities, share ideas for care improvement, and collaborate with supervisors or preceptors to build a personal career development plan.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field.
