The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of his/her patients.

Each service also requires specialized skills.

The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.

The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas other than his/her normally assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery atHCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. The Registered Nurse displays positivesupport forHCA HealthONE Mountain Ridgeas well as theentireHCAHealthONE organization and is committed to the process of continuous learning and professional development.

Provides patient careutilizingthe nursing process – assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment – for the identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.

Documents patient care administered.

Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care.

The delivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.

Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies.

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license
• Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing, BSN desireable
• CurrentAHAor ARCBCLSandAHAor ARCACLSCertification for all Float Pool Registered Nurses required.
  
  Additionalcertificationsrequiredbased on specialtyunitserved
• Two or more years of RN experience in an acute setting
• No travel required, floating to units within HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge only
