General Description:Services products and equipment as assigned. Starts up, identifies, analyzes and repairs instruments and products at customer’s location. Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, installations and modifications as needed or requested by customers. Performs training at customer site. Troubleshoots basic control circuits. Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
(Due to the need to travel with limited notice, seeking a candidate who lives in Colorado, no more than 45 minutes away from the DIA airport. Travel will be required 90% of the time. May be onsite at the Golden location when needed, too. Travel is mostly in the USA, however some international travel could be required. A corporate credit card will be issued to be used for all travel expenses including airfare and car rental.
You will be required to track and provide receipts for expenses on a regular basis.)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility, performing preventative maintenance, site surveys start-ups and repairs, installations and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Assumes responsibility for determining the best method to resolve problems encountered at the customer site and for accurately describing problems and communicating with the customers.
- Acts as a liaison between customer and Company providing feedback to Business Units.
- Provides trip reports in a timely manner and maintains records as required.
- Manages own travel arrangements to minimize costs
- Will be troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of stainless products and control panels.
Experience:
- Must have thorough technical knowledge of assigned products
- Experience with ISO
9001 requirements desirable - 2 years technical training in industrial field service
- 2 years field troubleshooting experience - mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to read mechanical and technical drawings
- Ability to perform extensive manual labor
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 plus pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Up to 90% - Will be travelling throughout the USA (company credit card provided for travel expenses)
Hourly is $27.00 - $33.00/hr, DOE
Location:Shop located in Golden, however travel will be required!
