Sales Porter

Sales Porters clean new and used vehicles and deliver vehicles as needed. This role will run errands when needed (i.e., pickup customers, mail, deliver parts, etc.) and fill in for vacation and when shorthanded in sales and service. Sales Porter will also maintain the lot and check vehicles before going home to make sure they are locked and no damage has been done.

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with ultra-luxury/high-end vehicles preferred
• Take accurate notes on vehicle condition
• Prior dealership, porter experience a plus
• Follow proper and explicit instructions
• Excellent customer service skills are expected
• Strong communication skills
• Valid California driver’s license and insurable
• Drive manual and automatic transmissions
• Team-oriented with a positive, friendly disposition
• Ability to use hand tools and power washers
• Productivity through time management

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests
• General lot maintenance
• Wash cars, new and used car prep
• Give customers rides to their home or employer
• Pick up mail, other pick-ups, and/or deliveries as requested
• Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition
• Move and park vehicles, deliver or pick up vehicles to correct locations if needed
• Ensure cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of vehicles on the lot
• Other duties as assigned by management

Compensation: $19.50/hr.
