R&D Operations Manager

• Lead and facilitate budget planning and execution for various R&D functions
• Perform analytics on spending trends and resource utilization
• Partner with Strategic Planning and Operations Leads to execute the annual budget plan
• Liaise with finance to provide quarterly, year-end, and ad-hoc deliverables
• Guide the contract management team on escalated procure-to-pay issues

• Master’s degree and 3 years of biotech/pharma-related business operations/financial analytics experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools
• Experience in project or budget management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a complex and matrixed environment

• Biotech/Pharma experience
• Experience with financial reporting and forecasting
• Familiarity with the drug development process and various R&D business units
• Proficiency with enterprise tools such as SAP, Ariba, and Anaplan
• Quick learner who is proactive and takes initiative
