Job details We are looking for teachers who are creative, energetic, and committed to working with young children to join our talented team and continue to grow professionally and personally.

Supervise/Teach Children

Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children

Have knowledge of a play-based environment

Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground; assure proper safety and oversee children’s activities

Observe and evaluate children and provide for induvial and group needs; communicate with the Director and other teachers to maintain consistency for children.

Attend and participate in staff meetings; evaluate program progress, goals, and objectives; discuss issues and progress of children, curriculum, and related matters

Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and needs

Collaborate with other educators and Administration

Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher

Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods

Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms

Excellent communication and instructional skills

Certification in child CPR/First Aid

BA in Child Development (preferred) or a minimum of 12 ECC Units and Early Childhood Education Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
