Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

12 months contract

Standard Working Hours. Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite/week

Seeking a Process Development Engineer to join the Drug Substance Technology Engineering team at our Thousand Oaks facility. The role provides process engineering support for human therapeutic products in clinical development through commercial production, translating developmental processes to commercial reality through scientific expertise and engineering innovation.

• Apply purification process engineering knowledge in support of technology transfer and clinical/commercial drug substance manufacturing in a highly innovative manufacturing suite using single‑use technology.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, analytical, and bench scientists to support a highly dynamic manufacturing facility.
• Work within the GMP environment to ensure compliance and quality.

• Drug substance biologics process development, pilot plant or manufacturing technical support
• Purification of monoclonal antibodies
• Experience in GMP environment (preferably drug substance)

• Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
• Associate degree and 6 years of experience
• High school diploma/ GED and 8 years of experience

• B.S. or M.S. in a scientific or engineering discipline with 0–3 years of relevant professional experience
• Familiarity with cGxP and experience in drug product / drug substance manufacturing or process development
• Knowledge of and hands‑on experience with various drug product technologies
• Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and independent research skills
• Excellent project management skills and ability to elevate issues to leadership
• Strong cross‑functional teamwork and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with external partners
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency
• Self‑motivated and positive attitude
