We’re hiring an Engineer for a consulting engagement with a leading global biopharmaceutical company. The role supports process engineering for human therapeutic products in clinical development through commercial production. The Engineer will work onsite a minimum of 3 days a week at the client’s Thousand Oaks facility.

• Apply purification process engineering knowledge in support of technology transfer and clinical/commercial drug substance manufacturing using single-use technology.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, analytical, and bench scientists to support a highly dynamic manufacturing facility.
• Support process development, pilot plant or manufacturing technical support for biologics.
• Assist in translating developmental processes to commercial reality for patients.

• Biotech background with purification experience.
• Experience in drug substance biologics process development, pilot plant or manufacturing.
• Purification of monoclonal antibodies.
• Experience in GMP environment (preferably drug substance).

• Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in drug substances and animal cell processes.
