We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, validation, documentation, and release of next-generation aerospace cockpit control systems and pilot interface products for commercial, military, and emerging Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aircraft. This role is a key contributor to one of Sensata's strategic growth initiatives focused on developing innovative technologies that support the evolution of more electrified, connected, and autonomous aircraft platforms.
Working within a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will drive mechanical design activities from concept through production launch while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Customers, and Engineering teams. This is an opportunity to influence the architecture and development of cutting-edge cockpit controls, pilot interfaces, and aerospace systems that will help define the next generation of flight.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a desire to solve complex engineering challenges in safety-critical aerospace applications.
