Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Property Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to lead engagements on a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements by coordinating day‑to‑day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, and driving delivery of services to meet deadlines.

• Develop internal team members and manage engagement economics.

• Continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and legislation that impact clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Demonstrate an understanding of complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.

• Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that exceed client expectations.

• Identify and offer opportunities for tax planning and other special services.

• Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.

To Qualify for the Role

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant property tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry.

• CPA or JD.

• Broad exposure to state and local taxation.

• Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.

• Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• A proven record in a professional services environment.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Base salary ranges are $135,000 to $308,500 in all geographic locations in the US, with higher ranges for certain metros.

• Join us in a team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Most people in external, client‑serving roles are expected to work together in person 40–60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

• Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your well‑being.
