We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, administering employee benefits, supporting employee relations and labor negotiations, and driving HR projects and process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, background/reference checks, and onboarding.
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to staff on benefits-related inquiries.
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and fostering positive employee engagement.
- Assist with labor negotiations, including preparation of materials, data analysis, and coordination with leadership.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Review, update, and maintain company HR policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Partner with management to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
