We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, administering employee benefits, supporting employee relations and labor negotiations, and driving HR projects and process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, background/reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to staff on benefits-related inquiries.
  • Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and fostering positive employee engagement.
  • Assist with labor negotiations, including preparation of materials, data analysis, and coordination with leadership.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Review, update, and maintain company HR policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
  • Partner with management to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
