Defense Attorney - General Liability

Position: Defense Attorney - General Liability - Minimum 5 years experience
Defense Firm with multiple office locations throughout California seeking General Liability attorney with 5 plus years’ experience in General Liability & Personal Injury defense for the Westlake Village office.

Must have experience in understanding medical records, mechanisms of injury and injuries, identifying the same, identifying experts needed, working up files, investigating, communicating with corporate clients, propounding and responding to discovery, taking depositions and preparing for trial. Must have experience in drafting reports to carrier/client, pleadings and dispositive motions. Must be self-motivated, curious, and hardworking. Must be independent enough to prepare files for settlement and trial as appropriate, as well as attend court hearings and available to travel.

Knowledge of public entity law is a plus.
