Job SummaryAs a Machinist II, you will operate and maintain advanced machinery, program and set up machines for optimal performance, ensuring product accuracy and meeting production schedules.
Primary Responsibilities- Reading and interpreting blueprints, process sheets, and sketches, planning assignments and layouts
- Setting up, operating and maintaining a wide range of machines, automation systems and removal devices
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve performance
- Optimizing tools and production by selecting, setting up, and adjusting production parameters
- Training and mentoring less experienced machinists and machine operators
- High school diploma, vocational training, technical level or comparable education
- Significant experience operating industrial machines
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient use of precision measuring tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machines as needed
- Drive for excellence, consistently outperforming goals
- Action oriented, energetic, and proactive in task execution
