$49.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Schedule

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday; including weekends, holidays and on-call.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Overview

You will be an integral part of our team, providing high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with disabilities in our Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF). The Registered Nurse (RN) role offers you the opportunity to work in a small, close-knit community where you can build meaningful relationships with both the people we support and your fellow dedicated team members.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility setting.
• Implement and oversee the health care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures, as needed.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of residents.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Offer support and guidance to License Vocational Nurse (LVN), Direct Support Professionals (DSP).
• Participate in complex case management and engage in continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• One (1) year experience as an RN; required.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to adapt to the needs of the residents and facility.

Facility Information

• Our facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N).
• Caregiver (DSP) to people supported ratio is usually 1:3, sometimes as high as 1:1 support.
• Nursing caseload typically ranges from 6-15 residents.
• Our home sizes are small, including 6-bed and 15-bed facilities.
• High-acuity care is limited or prohibited by facility regulations.
• Our Immediate Care Facilities provide wound care per licensing requirements, ranging from simple wounds to a maximum of stage I pressure ulcers.
• Hospice care is very limited and is provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers who come to our homes.
