Hourly wage estimate: $52.91 – $75.24 per hour.

What you will do in this role- Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
- Provide patient and family education regarding the procedure and peri‑operative process.
- Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including IV therapy, pre‑operative medications, and surgical site verification.
- Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time‑out, debriefing and universal protocols.
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
- Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while managing evidence‑based practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
- Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
- Assess patient condition, monitor throughout shift, and document changes thoroughly.
- Educate patients and families/caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment and follow‑up measures.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.
- Minimum 1‑year previous nursing experience.
Los Robles Regional Medical Center is a 380‑plus bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, emergency department, stroke center, ICU/CCU, maternity, Level III NICU, cancer center, cardiovascular center, same‑day surgery and rehab center.
