3 Key Consulting is hiring an Associate Scientist for a consulting engagement with a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Description:
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with 2+ years of experience in the field.
- Ideal candidate:
Bench role, lab experience, ability to work independently, motivated, team player, good communication skills, familiarity with Excel, data analysis, and automation.
The Platform Engineering group within Therapeutic Discovery seeks a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our team at our state-of-the-art research campus.
The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in display technologies, protein engineering, computational protein design, and production/optimization of complex large molecules.
Why is the Position Open? To supplement additional workload on the team.
Top Must-Have Skill Sets:
- Experience in molecular biology (e.g., PCR, cloning)
- Experience with cell culture (bacterial, yeast, or mammalian)
- Strong organization and communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Executing molecular biology strategies to construct libraries of protein variants for binder selection by display technologies.
- Optimizing selection and binding screens to identify molecule candidates.
- Analyzing data independently and documenting experimental plans and procedures.
- Working independently and effectively within teams.
