Job Description:

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with 2+ years of experience in the field.
• Ideal candidate:
  Bench role, lab experience, ability to work independently, motivated, team player, good communication skills, familiarity with Excel, data analysis, and automation.

The Platform Engineering group within Therapeutic Discovery seeks a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our team at our state-of-the-art research campus.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in display technologies, protein engineering, computational protein design, and production/optimization of complex large molecules.

Why is the Position Open? To supplement additional workload on the team.

Top Must-Have Skill Sets:

• Experience in molecular biology (e.g., PCR, cloning)
• Experience with cell culture (bacterial, yeast, or mammalian)
• Strong organization and communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Executing molecular biology strategies to construct libraries of protein variants for binder selection by display technologies.
• Optimizing selection and binding screens to identify molecule candidates.
• Analyzing data independently and documenting experimental plans and procedures.
• Working independently and effectively within teams.
