*** What is the day-to-day:
*** Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
* Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and implement timely solutions.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that optimize operational efficiency.
* Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
* Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to carry out specialized repairs and installations as required.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and safety standards.
* Foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging by actively participating in team initiatives and contributing to a positive work environment.
** Required Qualifications**:
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair within a commercial or industrial facility.
* Proficient knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
* A strong commitment to safety and adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Technical certification or relevant trade qualifications in mechanical systems or a related field.
* Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
* Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and prioritize workload effectively.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
* Passion for continuous learning and self-development.
