Maintenance Technician-Prop Mgmnt

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician-Property Management for a direct hire opportunity in Newbury Park, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional who enjoys keeping residential properties safe, functional, clean, and ready for residents. The Maintenance Technician-Property Management will handle a variety of make‑ready, repair, renovation, and property upkeep projects while contributing to a positive resident experience.

• Complete move‑in, move‑out, and make‑ready maintenance for residential units.
• Perform general repairs and renovations, including drywall, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Repair or replace HVAC, A/C components, interior and exterior lighting, washers, dryers, pumps, and related property equipment.
• Support retrofit and capital improvement projects while following approved budgets, contracts, bid requirements, and quality standards.
• Participate in monthly OSHA safety meetings and properly use required safety equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional, and service‑focused manner.

• Complete residential unit make‑ready, move‑in, and move‑out maintenance.
• Perform hands‑on repairs across drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general property systems.
• Support property renovations, retrofits, and capital improvement work.
• Maintain safe, clean, and functional units and common areas.
• 1‑2 years of maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or related hands‑on repair experience.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HVAC, A/C components, lighting, washers, dryers, pumps, or similar equipment is helpful.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of safety equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, resident‑focused approach.
• Ability to work well with supervisors, team members, vendors, and residents in a property management setting.

• Prior experience in residential property management, apartment maintenance, or multifamily maintenance.
• Experience with unit turns, make‑ready work, renovations, or capital improvement support.
• OSHA safety awareness or prior participation in safety training.
• Broad hands‑on repair ability across multiple trades.
