This is a strong opportunity for a disciplined, process-driven manager who wants visible impact, supportive cross-functional leadership, and the chance to improve inventory control standards across a fast-moving distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own inventory accuracy, location discipline, and inventory flow across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Lead cycle counts, physical counts, location audits, movement audits, inventory investigations, and reconciliation activities.
  • Review inventory movement history to confirm system transactions match the true physical flow of inventory.
  • Investigate shortages, overages, incorrect locations, missing units, unexplained adjustments, and process breakdowns.
  • Train, lead, and hold the inventory team accountable for count accuracy, movement control, escalation rules, and warehouse inventory standards.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to reduce unnecessary touches, improve pick flow, optimize storage locations, and correct root causes of inventory errors.
Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Lead cycle count programs, physical inventory counts, audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Improve warehouse flow by optimizing pick locations, reserve locations, bulk storage, overflow areas, transfer areas, and non-pickable inventory.
  • Train teams, enforce inventory procedures, and hold departments accountable when actions impact inventory accuracy.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant inventory management, warehouse operations, or distribution leadership experience.
  • Experience managing inventory in multiple warehouses or large-scale warehouse operations.
  • Strong background in apparel, clothing, consumer goods, e-commerce, wholesale, retail distribution, or high-SKU warehouse environments.
  • Strong understanding of pick and pack operations, replenishment, storage, returns, transfers, and inventory movement control.
  • Experience with cycle counts, physical counts, inventory audits, movement review, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong WMS, Excel, reporting, and inventory analysis skills.

  • Ability to identify process failures directly on the warehouse floor and take action to correct them.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, urgency, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to train staff, challenge poor processes, enforce standards, and drive consistent accountability across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
