We are seeking a passionate Deputy Head of School to join a specialist Secondary Alternative Provision setting in Thrapston. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to support vulnerable young people, drive high standards across the school, and help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can thrive..

The Role

Support the day-to-day leadership and management of the school
Lead on teaching, learning, behaviour, and student progress
Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs
Coach and mentor staff to deliver high-quality education
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture
Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
Work closely with families, external agencies, and the wider leadership team

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience with in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision settings
Strong leadership and behaviour management skills
Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
Resilient, proactive, and adaptable approach
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
