People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Kettering / Islip (NN14 3JW
).

You will be working Kettering/Islip.

This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative
, Order Picker
, or Picker Packer
, as well as those with experience as a Warehouse Worker
, Logistics Operative
, or Distribution Operative
.

Shifts:

• Fixed PM shift - 14:00 - 22:00:
  Tuesday
  - Saturday

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday: £14.74 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday: £17.76 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Operative
, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Sorting and placing stock onto pallets and rails
• Picking goods using LLOP equipment in line with KPI targets
• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for dispatch
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health and safety
• Operating LLOP vehicles safely and efficiently
• Lifting and carrying products weighing up to fifteen kilograms
• Supporting warehouse operations as required

Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative
, you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• LLOP experience is desirable but not essential
• Own reliable transport due to site location and shift times
• Ability to work full-time fixed PM shifts
• Basic English and numeracy skills
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to fifteen kilograms
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test and basic English and Numeracy Test
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
