Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Student Counsellor – Overseas Education, based in Thrissur. The Student Counsellor will engage with students to understand their academic aspirations, provide personalized guidance on career pathways, and recommend suitable universities and programs abroad. Responsibilities include advising on admission requirements, assisting with applications, and guiding students through the visa process and scholarship opportunities. The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with students and parents, ensuring they feel supported throughout their study abroad journey.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide guidance and support for students' academic and career aspirations
Excellent Communication skills to build rapport with students and parents and deliver information clearly and effectively
Customer Service skills with a focus on understanding client needs and maintaining positive relationships
Knowledge or experience in the field of Education, including familiarity with international universities and application processes
Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling application and visa procedures
Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline, preferably in Education, Psychology, or a related field
Proficiency in using technology and software for client management and communication
Ability to work independently as part of a collaborative, student-focused team
