Role Description As a Network Technician, you will provide on-site support at our Thrissur location in a full-time capacity. You will install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, cabling, and related hardware to support business operations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing connectivity issues, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and external vendors when needed. You will handle user support tickets, document incidents and changes, and implement basic network security measures such as access controls and patch updates.

The role also involves assisting with network upgrades, maintaining accurate network diagrams and asset inventories, and ensuring minimal downtime for users and critical systems.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Administration and Network Infrastructure, including configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and cabling.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for network-related issues, with a focus on timely resolution and clear documentation.
- Working knowledge of Network Security principles, including access control, basic firewall rules, and secure configuration practices.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting networks in industrial or machinery-based environments is a plus.
