PPM Specialist

Note:

- This is 6 months of contractual role with 100% remote opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled  Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Specialist  with expertise in  Sciforma, Planview, or a comparable PPM platform  to support and enhance our enterprise Project Portfolio Management ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge of project portfolio management with hands-on technical expertise in platform administration, configuration, integrations, and user support.
This role requires working closely with business stakeholders, PMOs, IT teams, and enterprise application teams to ensure the PPM solution effectively supports project planning, resource management, capacity planning, and portfolio reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain the Sciforma or Planview PPM platform.
Configure project planning, portfolio management, resource allocation, capacity planning, and time tracking modules.
Support end users by resolving functional and technical issues while providing day-to-day platform administration.
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable PPM configurations and workflows.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between the PPM platform and enterprise systems, including:
ERP applications
Data Warehouse platforms
Business Intelligence (BI) tools
People Day/Time Tracking systems
Monitor platform performance and proactively resolve system issues.
Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and portfolio analytics.
Support portfolio governance processes and ensure data quality across the platform.
Collaborate with PMOs, project managers, resource managers, and technical teams to improve project delivery processes.
Manage system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and release activities.
Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing business support.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms.
Hands-on administration and configuration experience with  Sciforma  or  Planview  (preferred).

Experience with comparable enterprise PPM solutions may also be considered.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting both technical administration and business users.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with People Day or enterprise time-tracking integrations.
Knowledge of reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Familiarity with SQL and data integration concepts.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
Exposure to enterprise PMO processes and portfolio governance.
