Factory Manager

K P Namboodiri's Ayurvedics (KPNA) is a heritage Ayurvedic and herbal wellness brand entering its next phase of growth. We're investing in a world-class, future-ready manufacturing ecosystem that combines traditional wisdom with modern science and operational discipline.
We're looking for a Factory Manager to lead our personal care products manufacturing facility in Velur, with full ownership of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and people. This is a leadership role, not a maintenance one: you'll be building a benchmark manufacturing organisation, not just running one.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Plant Leadership
–  Lead production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and warehousing end to end
–  Own productivity, cost efficiency, quality, and service level performance
–  Benchmark the plant against industry best practice and drive continuous improvement
Planning and Supply Chain
–  Lead the S&OP process from the manufacturing side, aligned to demand
–  Build production plans around demand forecasts and material availability
–  Work with procurement, inventory, and logistics to hit dispatch and export commitments
Strategy and Capacity
–  Turn business strategy into manufacturing priorities and execution roadmaps
–  Lead capacity planning and expansion for future growth
–  Build systems that scale, not just work for today
Continuous Improvement and Digital
–  Drive Lean, TPM, and structured problem-solving as a culture, not a checklist
–  Champion digitisation and real-time performance visibility on the shop floor
Quality, Compliance, and Safety
–  Meet all statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements
–  Own product quality and a strong safety culture
People and Culture
–  Build a high-performance team and develop the next line of leadership
–  Work effectively with shopfloor teams, unions, and external stakeholders

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
–  12 to 18 years in manufacturing operations, with 3 to 5 years in plant leadership
–  Engineering degree an advantage, not a requirement, for the right experience
–  FMCG, pharma, Ayurveda, or process industry background preferred

Experience with plant setup, modernisation, or capacity expansion is a strong plus
–  Malayalam essential, Hindi desirable, fluent written and spoken English
