Our parent stock farms are a key component of Bell Schweiz AG’s integrated poultry production. At the parent stock farm in Herbligen near Thun, you will play a central role in modern poultry production. Under the supervision of the farm manager, you will play an active part in all aspects of the operation – from the daily care of the breeding stock to the collection of hatching eggs.
You will monitor and report on animal health in accordance with guidelines, ensure the smooth operation of technical equipment and carefully record all relevant production data. In this way, you’ll make a direct contribution to modern, safe and sustainable food production and work in a responsible environment with clear quality standards.

- Caring for the breeding stock in accordance with the guidelines set by the Head of Chick Production
- Collection of hatching eggs at the parent stock farms
- Compliance with hygiene guidelines as set out in the Bell Schweiz AG Hygiene Manual
- Recording and reporting production data
- Ordering and checking the delivery of feed
- Assisting with cleaning tasks during the service period
- Assisting with the relocation and removal of parent stock flocks
- Completed training
- An interest in animal care or in the responsible handling of farm animals, ideally poultry
- A strong sense of duty, as well as a reliable, meticulous and very precise approach to work
- Enjoyment of practical work in the barn and on the farm, as well as a willingness to take responsibility for animal welfare and hygiene
