• Serve as the key point for aging, volunteer work, and prevention.

• Degree in Social Work or similar qualification, with experience.
• Strong networking abilities and workshop moderation experience.
• Analytical thinking and proficiency in MS Office.

• You are the central point of contact for the City of Thun on the specialist topics of ageing, intergenerational relations, volunteering and addiction prevention/harm reduction
• You bring people and organisations together and jointly create solutions for societal challenges
• You address current issues in your specialist area and contribute to professional and conceptual development
• You initiate and organise events and projects that create encounters, promote exchange and make social issues visible
• You independently write reports and decision‑making documents in a structured manner with a focus on the essentials
• You represent the City of Thun in regional and cantonal committees and bring in its concerns as well as your expertise
• You actively help shape the future direction and development of the unit

• Degree in Social Work (University of Applied Sciences or University) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in social work; in-depth knowledge in the areas of responsibility and project management desired
• Strong networking skills and experience in moderating workshops
• Enjoyment in contact with external organisations
• Flexibility, innovative strength, resilience, assertiveness and conflict management skills
• Quick comprehension, analytical thinking and good work organisation
• Interest in political and social issues
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Good user knowledge of common MS Office programmes
