MNP is seeking an Accounting Technician to support its Assurance & Accounting team. In this integral role, you'll assist with audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements while managing client files and financial reporting. Your experience in preparing filings and government remittances will ensure that clients navigate their financial decisions confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements
• Prepare government remittances and manage payroll transactions
• Maintain GL accounts, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations
• Collaborate with clients on budgets and financial planning
• Communicate effectively with government agencies as needed
Requirements:
• Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in related field
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of T4s, T5s, and corporate tax
• Familiarity with accounting software tools
• Willingness to travel as necessary
