Position: Accountant Role at MNP
Join MNP's Assurance and Accounting team in Thunder Bay, Ontario, as an Accountant. Utilize your skills in audits, bookkeeping, and financial reporting in this full-time, on-site position.

In this role, you will enhance your technical abilities in compilations and reviews while applying knowledge of IFRS and GAAP. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide valuable financial insights that clients need to make informed decisions, all while managing multiple files and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop skills in compilations, audits, and bookkeeping

• Apply knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accurately

• Manage client files and conduct inventory counts

• Prepare balance sheets and financial statements

• Collaborate with clients and build lasting relationships

Requirements:

• In progress or completion of a business degree in accounting

• Working towards CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites

• Previous accounting-related experience is a plus

• Familiarity with accounting and tax software

• Customer service experience considered an asset
