Elevate your career as a Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst s role focuses on global cloud revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and driving process improvements across teams.
Open Text seeks a qualified Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst to join their dynamic Revenue Recognition team. You will work closely with various departments such as Billing Operations and Finance to ensure accurate revenue reporting and compliance. The position involves significant analytical responsibilities, supporting month-end activities, and maintaining deferred revenue schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze customer contracts for revenue compliance
• Calculate percentage-of-completion revenue for services
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accounts
• Investigate revenue fluctuations and resolve discrepancies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical data skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
